Ortho-McNeil Pharma Pleads Guilty E-mail

Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, LLC (owned by Johnson & Johnson) plead guilty in court for its part in illegally promoting Topamax, a drug developed for epilepsy which was never approved by the FDA. They were fined $6.14 Million. An Affiliate of the company, Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will also pay $75.37 million!
