2 new nursing leadership positions have been assigned by the Helen Devos Children's Hospital. Joan Rikli, MSN, RN and Jeni Wincek, MSN, RN are the 2 that have been given the task of directing certain care for not only our own Grand Rapids children, but also the children of North, South, East and West Michigan. Also meet Dr. Lana Gagin, MD a new-Helen-Devos-Children's-Hospital pediatrician, however not new to pediatrics.  Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, LLC (owned by Johnson & Johnson) plead guilty in court for its part in illegally promoting Topamax, a drug developed for epilepsy which was never approved by the FDA. They were fined $6.14 Million. An Affiliate of the company, Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will also pay $75.37 million!
